SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY AND RESULTS

In the field of exploration geophysics:

It developed and introduced optimum observation system for the deep seismic sounding in the practice, it was occupied by the study of nature of seismic waves in the field of the entrance of the primary waves from the foundation to the Moho surface, it created control system of the results of the interpretation of seismic observations by the method of solution of straight problems.

 

 In the field of seismology:

It was occupied by the development of nature of a difference in the wave pour on from the explosions and the earthquakes, showed the possibility of using the nuclear explosions for the solution of reconnaissance problems, developed the technology of deep seismic sounding with the application of underground nuclear explosions.

 

 In area of the forecast of earthquakes:

It developed the integrated system of optimum tracking of the geological-geophysical parameters, created Leninabadian prognostic range as the element of future regional network according to the forecast of earthquakes, developed the system of the estimation of effectiveness in the observations for the control of geodynamic processes, stood at the sources of the creation of the regional networks of observations in the seismoactive regions on scales of the entire country.
